 The Brownsville Society for the Performing Arts is thrilled to announce Rio Grande Valley's own hot Latin sound, Ache de Barrio, as featured performers for the Brownsville Latin Music Festival 2026 on Friday, November 6th in Brownsville, Texas!

Familiarly known to fans as "Grupo Aché," the band has solidified its legacy as a premier cultural powerhouse in South Texas. Celebrated across the region for their masterclass fusion of Afro-Caribbean salsa, traditional Cumbia, and contemporary Latin jazz, they bring an explosive, high-energy celebration of Latin rhythms to the local stage with their electrifying vocals and powerhouse brass and percussion sections. 

 The Brownsville Society for the Performing Arts is thrilled to announce Latin rock powerhouses Del Castillo as headliners for the Brownsville Latin Music Festival 2026 on Saturday, November 7th in Brownsville, Texas! Known for their thrilling blend of electric Flamenco, rock, and Latin rhythms, the multi-award-winning band has earned widespread acclaim and landed music on soundtrack blockbusters like Kill Bill Vol. 2, Sin City, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. This unforgettable night will mark the exclusive vinyl release of their brand-new album, Radio Medianoche, as well as a triumphant reunion as brother Albert returns on bass for his first performance in over 18 months following his medical recovery. Inaugurated by the late great "King of Latin Music" Tito Puente in 1997, the brainchild of the late George Ramirez, the BLJ Festival has entertained tens of thousands, expanded our musical boundaries, generated tourism, and improved our quality of life.
